It has been announced in Azerbaijan who will be vaccinated against coronavirus first.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of TABIB Ramin Bayramli at a meeting of the Public Oversight Board of the Foundation for Support of Coronavirus Control on vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 virus.
He noted that the risk groups for vaccination have been identified:
"The strategy will probably be developed and made public this weekend. The risk group includes health workers, law enforcement officers in close contact with the population, as well as people with co-morbidities, dialysis patients, diabetics, people with cardiovascular disease, kidney failure and other diseases.
He added that vaccination will be voluntary.
The doctor stressed that the manufacturer's recommendations will be taken into account when applying vaccines:
"We believe that the elderly and those in the reproductive period should not be hit. Because people over the age of 65 are at risk, it is advisable to vaccinate people over this age.
However, the manufacturer's recommendations will be taken into account. That is, we will make a decision based on the manufacturer's recommendations, taking into account the national strategy.
