Since the beginning of the year, the country's population has increased by 54,701 people or 0.5 percent.According to the State Statistics Committee, as of November 1, 2020, the population of Azerbaijan reached 10 million 121 thousand 809 people.It was noted that 52.8% of the population was urban and 47.2% rural.
Also, 49.9% of the population are men and 50.1% are women. The population was 117 people per square kilometer.During the relevant period, 106,569 births were registered by the district (city) registration offices of the Ministry of Justice, and this figure was 12.8 per 1,000 people.53.3% of births are boys and 46.7% are girls.
