In comparison, if a person has the virus at home, the probability of transmission is 11.8 percent, and the probability of infection in the company of friends outside is only 1.9 percent. In this case, the greatest infection is provided by children aged 10-19 at home. This does not mean that children are more contagious, only that children are very active, and it is very difficult to maintain control at home.
"Therefore, opening schools is one of the most difficult decisions in any country. When an epidemic starts in any country, the first place to close is the school," he said.
Mehmet Ceyhan reiterated that it is very difficult to decide on the opening of schools: "This is one of the main topics discussed by the world today."
