"Passengers using the Baku metro are asked to monitor the quarantine rules. Otherwise, it may lead to the reopening of the subway.
The statement came from Bakhtiyar Mammadov, spokesman for Baku Metro.
He said that at all metro stations there are passengers who follow the rules of quarantine and do not:
"Both metropolitan officials and the police recommend that passengers wear medical masks on platforms in accordance with their purpose. How to use a medical mask is to protect the upper respiratory tract. It makes no sense if the passenger holds the mask under his chin or puts it in a way that does not close his nose. It simply becomes an accessory.
We ask all passengers to wear masks not only on the platform, but also on trains. This is because not using a mask can spread the virus. This causes legitimate dissatisfaction of passengers wearing masks. If passengers do not strictly control the quarantine rules, this may lead to the re-closure of the subway.
