Information about the withdrawal of bags given to students during the opening of the school was spread on social networks.
It was noted that in connection with the opening of a new school in Orta Mugan village of Saatli region, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation gave school bags to first-graders.
It is alleged that the bags were confiscated from the students after the shooting.
Saatli District Education Department told Oxu.Az that 58 students are currently studying in the first grade at the school: “They were given 24 bags. During the opening, the existing bags were distributed to children. Just one of the employees of the District Education Department told the teachers that the event will continue and the children will be given bags later. As a result of a misunderstanding, the bags were detained.
"Parents have already been called to school and the bags have been handed over," the statement said.
