Teachers and students infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan
As of September 21, 2020, since the beginning of the school year, 121 people, including 95 students and 26 staff, have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Most of these students did not attend general education because they were in the upper grades. A total of 346 people were contacted.

Due to the detection of coronavirus in teachers and students in Baku, the activities of 4 classes were transferred to a remote form. No cases of school-related infections have been reported among students in recent days. It was determined that the registered infections occurred in the family.
The Ministry of Education calls on all students, parents, teachers and staff to maintain social distance, use personal hygiene products regularly and follow sanitary and hygienic rules, "the statement said.
