First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva called on the Azerbaijani people.

“Dear compatriots!
The recent events are of concern to every citizen of our country. The next provocation of the occupier was immediately responded to.
May God have mercy on all our martyrs. I pray to God that our wounded soldiers will recover soon. May God protect the life and health of every Azerbaijani warrior.
These days, we are all overwhelmed by emotions. There are a lot of emotions. Along with grief and respect for the bright memory of the martyrs, one of the strongest is a sense of pride. She is proud of the fighting ability of the Azerbaijani Army and mothers who raise heroic sons.
We are proud of the sense of patriotism of our citizens, young people who are ready to stand up for the Motherland from the first call, and tens of thousands of volunteers. A sense of pride for the thousands of Azerbaijanis who have expressed their unequivocal position outside our country and supported our state and our army.
Demonstrating unity, enthusiasm and celebration of historical truth - readiness for every step to restore the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan - is a powerful and effective tool in our sacred struggle.
I am grateful to everyone who has demonstrated a true civic position these days.
Dear brothers and sisters!
Against the background of high patriotism and fighting spirit, each of us today is required to be patient, vigilant and restrained. We must not forget at all times that the conditions of confrontation that we have been experiencing for many years cover not only the area of military operations, but also the information space. In the age of social networks, the scale of information wars and their impact on the course of events are becoming a very important factor influencing the outcome of the conflict.
Modern information platforms are dishonestly used by hostile forces, malicious people, and sometimes simply envious and biased circles to spread "fakes", fake, subversive materials. The goal is to create panic, discord and an internal "front", to increase the mood of despair and defeat.
There is a wide arsenal of tools, from fake profiles and one-time phone numbers to the use of methods of psychological influence on the visual, auditory and emotional perception of users. In short, the most ugly means are used to touch the most fragile wires of the human heart. The forces supporting Armenia's policy of aggression pursue their goals and act on the principle of "all means are good in war."
It is very gratifying that the majority of Azerbaijani Internet users do not follow provocations, expose lies and slander, are able to choose between black and white, and speak the truth about the roots of the conflict. After all, one of our main tasks is to convey our voice of truth to the world community, which demands justice.
I thank everyone who is active, speaks the truth, protects the interests of our country in this area in a justified manner within the law and moral norms.
But there are other examples. How much do you have to hate your homeland to hide the "destroyed" Azerbaijani positions in third countries at a time when the Azerbaijani Army is responding to the enemy's provocations, to spread lies about the loss of many lives among the civilian population? Or do you try to use the patriotic spirit of the Azerbaijani youth to create divisions, chaos and confusion for the sake of insignificant, unrealizable political ambitions?
These actions and such people cannot be justified. They have nothing in common with the millions of Azerbaijanis who are ready to die for their land and cannot be. God is in control of them, because everyone is accountable to God except public condemnation.
Dear friends!
It is impossible not to see the mutual support, patience, solidarity, restraint and self-control that you show on social networks. Thank you for that! We must all be vigilant and not succumb to provocation. Let's not forget that every time we share, post a photo or write a comment, we live in a state of war, and the other side can use everything we publish in the information space.
Let's not forget that it is the duty of each of us to defend the position of Azerbaijan. Not only on the battlefield, but also in front of a computer. Let's not forget that today we are a nation, a people with a common goal. We need victory. A victory for all of us. The winner is strengthened by unity, intelligence and will.
I love my native Azerbaijan and my wise, courageous and compassionate people! Our work is the work of truth, and God is with us! May God protect Azerbaijan!
