Australian and American scientists have found traces of water in meteorites falling on our planet.According to Science, Simon Turner and colleagues at McCurry University in Sydney have studied the composition of several meteorites that have hit the Earth in the last hundred years.They found that these meteorites underwent chemical reactions in the presence of water.
Scientists estimate that these chemical processes have taken place over the last million years.Most astrophysicists believe that the water that laid the foundation for life on Earth came to our planet through meteorites. However, when this will happen is still a matter of controversy/
