The Council of Europe's Platform for the Protection of Journalism and the Safety of Journalists has released a report on the insult of French TV channel TF1 correspondent Liseron Budul on social media after broadcasting a report on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh on 22 October. The report says: "The report shows the daily life of the front on the Azerbaijani side. Shortly after it was published in the evening bulletin, Budul faced a stream of hatred and insults that lasted for several days.
In one of the comments, she was called a "genocide prostitute." He also received a message on WhatsApp from a person who managed to get a personal phone number. TF1 was also tracked by emails, phone calls and messages on social media. A Facebook statement said: "It is possible for some of TF1's top executives to think better and clearer by beheading a few." On October 23, 300 members of the Armenian community demonstrated in front of TF1's headquarters in Paris to protest what they perceived as biased broadcasts. It has decided to remove the channel report from its website.
