According to the report, 27-year-old Shahinur Aktyor gave birth to a girl in the sixth month of her pregnancy at the hospital under the medical college in the city. However, the doctor said that the premature baby died a few minutes later.
Hospital staff put the "dead" child in a glove box, handed it over to the woman's husband, Yeasin Molla, and told him to take it to the Azimpur cemetery for burial. The father took the child to the cemetery, but was offered to bury the child in another, cheaper place. The father goes to the place and agrees to bury him. After the cemetery worker dug the grave and dropped the child there, the box suddenly shook.
"I opened the box and saw that my child was alive. My daughter was moving and opening her mouth, ”Moll recalled.
She returned her newborn daughter to the hospital.
The doctor on duty and the nurse at first refuse to accept him, saying that there are no vacancies.
But Moll said doctors should be held accountable for the mistake.
As a result, the baby was hospitalized. She is OK now.
Hospital officials have launched an investigation into the incident.
