How to persuade your kids to wear masks
Children tend to follow what their parents are doing. Therefore, mothers and fathers should wear a mask to set a good example when going out.
Here are 6 tips to convince your kids to wear masks.
1. It is important that parents and other members of the family wear a mask every time they go out. Children follow what you do, not what you say. To persuade them, show them how comfortable you are in wearing a mask and wear a mask.
2. If you have younger children, you can convince them to make a mask together. It will help them show interest in masks.
3. You can wear masks on the toys.
4. Talk to your children and explain the importance of wearing masks in the present. You can tell them that they offer protection such as seat belts or sunscreens. Educate your kids about the importance of wearing masks. You can also tell them how wearing masks protects others.
5. Talk to older children about how they can contribute to the further spread of the virus when coughing or sneezing when they are not wearing a mask.
6. Tell them how to properly wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth well. Inform them about disposable masks and fabric face masks.
In addition to teaching children to wear masks, also inform them about the importance of at least 3-4 steps of social distance and regular hand washing.
