The statement came from Gada Wali, executive director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, RIA Novosti reported.
"Governments, hospitals and various organizations are in a hurry to buy protective equipment, so there is a high demand, so it is risky to use counterfeit drugs and counterfeit personal protective equipment, and organized criminal groups are active in this area," he said.
