Aliyev Mehman Sovet oglu, born in 1975, was killed by shrapnel falling near the administrative building of the District Court on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Tartar on 28.09.2020 as a result of another heavy artillery shelling of the Azerbaijani civilian population. The driver of the ambulance, Asadov Ganbar Asgar, born in 1968, and the military police officer in the car, Huseynov Fakhraddin Farman, born in 1994, as well as another resident of Tartar, Ibrahimov Tural, born in 1991. Firdovsi's son was injured.
The Prosecutor General's Office issued a statement in this regard.
It was stated that the Tartar District Prosecutor's Office had violated Article 100.2 (aggressive warfare), 120.2.1 (intentional homicide by a criminal organization), 120.2.4 (intentional homicide with special cruelty or general danger), 120.2. .12 (intentional homicide with intent to incite national, racial, religious hatred or enmity), 29, 120.2.7 (attempted murder of two or more persons) and other articles.
At present, the prosecutor's office is carrying out all possible investigative measures, taking into account the combat conditions at the scene.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducts the necessary documentation and collects evidence in order to ensure that servicemen of the Armenian armed forces who have committed various crimes are brought to justice and punished in accordance with international law.
