The Ministry of Education has commented on the views expressed on social networks about the involvement of students in face-to-face teaching five times a week in some private general education institutions.
It was noted in the appeal of the Ministry that the 2020-2021 academic year has started in our country on September 15. Due to the pandemic, classes are organized both visually and remotely. According to the established rules, grades I-IV began the school year in full-time and distance (distance), and grades V-XI in distance.
The organization of the quarantine regime of education and training in general education institutions in the 2020-2021 academic year is carried out on the basis of the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. Thus, the activities of general education institutions in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron districts are organized visually twice a week, and in other cities and regions visually three times a week in accordance with special curricula.
It was noted that this is a non-compliance with the relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers on the organization of education. All issues related to the organization of education in educational institutions are under the control of the Ministry of Education, and if such cases are confirmed, appropriate measures will be taken.
