Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the Indonesian ambassador for Indonesia's unequivocal support for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Minister also informed the other side about the aggressive policy of Armenia, which threatens peace and security in the region, including the next military provocation planned by the Armenian armed forces in the direction of the Tovuz region of Azerbaijan on July 12 this year along the international border. It was stressed that Armenia, which did not achieve its goals with this provocation, faced the resolute position of the international community.
Husnan Bey Fananie extended his sincere congratulations to Jeyhun Bayramov on his appointment as Foreign Minister. He then expressed his condolences to the families of the martyrs and the Azerbaijani government who lost their lives as a result of tensions on the border between the two countries. He noted that Indonesia's support for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders is unequivocal.
Noting that efforts were made to develop relations between the two countries during his tenure, the ambassador said there was potential for cooperation in a number of areas. He expressed confidence that the exchange of visits between the two countries will contribute to the further development of these relations.
