The Gabala District Executive Power has clarified the issue of naming the street named after General Hazi Aslanov after the martyred Major General Polad Hashimov.
According to the executive power, Polad Hashimov's name was given to the street where the Alley of Martyrs is located in Gabala:
"Polad Hashimov Street starts from the intersection with Hazi Aslanov Street and continues until the end point with the intersection with Arif Hagverdiyev Street.
Hazi Aslanov Street has not been renamed. The starting point of this street starts from the intersection with Heydar Aliyev Avenue and ends at the memorial complex erected to immortalize the memory of those killed during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
