Tips that can help you be more productive when working from home

1. Follow a disciplined routine every day. Wake up on time, exercise, eat, schedule working hours with adequate breaks in between

2. Don't let distractions affect you at home.

3. Take care of your mental health as it plays an important role in a home study. Make sure you give yourself enough time. Take small breaks from work to reduce stress

4. Home work takes more than just a job. As well as an ergonomically productive workplace, consider the following:

- The business area should be set up in a well-lit area away from other family members.

- Table and chair should be at the appropriate height. The laptop or desktop should be at a height that prevents you from looking up or down while working, as looking up or down for a long time can cause neck strain.

- Computer glasses are an essential accessory to prevent the glare of the screen and its blue light damaging your eyes.

- Try using an external keyboard and mouse connected to the laptop.

- Sit straight with the lower back supported and rest your forearms on the table or the arms of the chair. Typing or using the mouse with the forearms in the air creates stress on the neck and shoulders.

- Take a few minutes every hour. Get up from the chair, stop looking at the monitor, and use your hands for some activities other than writing or scrolling. This will prevent back and neck pain, headaches, shoulder and arm pain.

5. Small repetitive movements of the hand, wrist or elbow can cause muscle pain. The following measures can be taken to prevent these:

- Place the mouse close to the keyboard and at the same height

- When using the mouse, use the whole arm, not just the wrist

- Type lightly and lift your hands off the keyboard when not typing to allow him to rest.
