35 million manat has been allocated to improve the living conditions of servicemen - OFFICIAL

"35 million manat has been allocated to improve the living conditions of servicemen." The statement came from Finance Minister Samir Sharifov during a video conference chaired by President Ilham Aliyev on the results of 2020. "In order to improve the living conditions of servicemen, funds have been allocated in recent years in pursuance of your relevant decree, and this year, 35 million manat has been allocated for these purposes.
On the other hand, taking into account the fact that some state-owned companies provide services to the population at subsidized prices, the state intends to provide certain subsidies to these companies. The Minister also noted that there are positive changes between local revenues and expenditures. 42 cities and districts of the country are now able to cover their expenses from their own revenues. Subsidies from the state budget will continue to finance the deficit between the expenditures and revenues of the remaining regions. Samir Sharifov noted that the allocation of funds for agricultural programs continues. For this purpose, more than 460 million manat will be allocated in next year's budget: "These funds will be used to provide certain subsidies to farmers, including food, crops and, more recently, other new subsidy mechanisms."
