Preparation for death

Death often needs to be remembered and prepared for. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Remember the one who finishes his pleasures (death) often!" This hadith was narrated by the "Five" with authentic isnads, and Ibn Hibban, Hakim and others considered it authentic. Everything is possible in the approved form. Because God did not create a pain that could not be cured. It is haraam to treat with haraam food, vodka, najasat and other things. Thus, in a hadith narrated from Ibn Mas'ud in Sahih, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allaah has not healed his ummah with what He has forbidden." Also, any treatment that harms the faith is unacceptable. Priesthood, sorcery, offering sacrifices to other than God, and visiting priests and astrologers are such acts. The sick must repent and turn to God. Because this is an action that is important at all times, and especially in the moment of illness. It is recommended that a person return to the owner all the rights, both for and against him, and the rest of his belongings, and pay special attention to the rights of his young children. It is a good deed for those who are with him at the moment of death to say to him, "La ilaha illallah." The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Recite to those who are on the verge of death the word 'la ilaha illallah'!" This hadith was narrated by Muslim. It is also necessary to turn the dead person to the qibla, to close his eyes after death and to cover his face with clothes. As far as possible, the rules of its preparation should be implemented as soon as possible. According to the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the payment of debts and the fulfillment of a will must be done as soon as possible: "The soul of a believer depends on his debt. Therefore, he will be questioned." This hadith was narrated by Ahmad, and Tirmidhi considered it hasan. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah al-Fawzan (from the book "Short rules of the funeral")
