Thoughts on the book

The French philosopher Claude Adrian Helvetius says: "Like human beings, it is possible to fall into a society of good and evil between books."

"Everyone should read a book!", "Do not sit idle, read a book!", "A society that does not read a book is unhappy!" You have probably heard such expressions.

Just as an empty pot makes a lot of noise, an empty and incompletely knowledgeable person makes a lot of noise.

People who try to love books in society: those who do not read books; who loves a book but is lazy to read; not reading ten books, choosing to fill his library as a hobby; who spends reading; who considers it his profession to read the majority; Living with the idea that "if I don't read a book, they will look at me like an elf"; I saw people talking about books every day to sell books ...
Reading a book is not an important and necessary thing. It is also possible to live without reading. But a book can teach a person how to live and how to improve his life.

The book is a treasure of need. This treasure may contain gold, silver, and jewels, as well as iron, copper, aluminum, and rust. In order to find a way to the treasury, to choose what is useful, we must either be a spender, a traveler, or ask for help from someone who is well acquainted with this path.

Let's not forget that tastes are different, and we should not live with the tastes of others, we should get the information we need, interesting, as well as necessary. Unnecessary information is like a big, awkward thing that can't be used at home. You can't call it a souvenir, you can't sell it because no one will buy it, you can't put it in the trash because MKIS will fine you. You carry it with you all your life.

Reading a book is not the goal. It is a tool for a purpose. So, "What should we read?" you need to think about the question. Many books on AIDS, cancer, and so on. like diseases. Kills instead of heals. Reading some books is a waste of time.

Therefore, if we want to live in a good society, we should not be deceived by the best-selling, expensive, high-quality, well-known author books. We must choose from them what is useful for our lives, read it and apply it in our lives, and pass this heritage on to those who need it.
