In Azerbaijan, the pensions of women registered in the individual registration system are automated.
This was stated by an employee of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population Aykhan Majidov in a live link dedicated to the "Rules for the appointment and calculation of pensions."
According to him, if a woman over the age of 62 is registered in the individual registration system, even if she has 1 month of service from January 1, 2006 to July 1, 2018, she will be automatically assigned a pension:
"In this case, if a citizen knows that he has 25 years of experience before 2006, he can apply to the SSPF or DOST Centers for a pension. If a person has 25 years of experience, he will have the opportunity to retire."
Majidov added that if a woman has 5 children, she can get the right to a pension 5 years earlier:
"If today the retirement age for women is 62, if they have five children, the age will be reduced to 57. If a woman has 6 children, she gets the right to a pension for 6 years, and if she has 7 children, she gets a pension for 7 years.
Majidov noted that if a 62-year-old woman has never worked in the past, she will not receive a pension. However, such women can be provided with social benefits when they reach the age of 62.
