In 1960, the famous singer created a "Mugam Studio" at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic and taught young singers the secrets of mugam. He also taught at the Azerbaijan State Music School and rendered invaluable services in raising a new generation of mugam singers. In 1973-1979, Khan Shushinsky was engaged in pedagogical activity at the secondary music school named after A.Zeynalli. Isfandiyar Javanshirov was responsible for the name "Khan" given to him in his youth until the end of his life, he was a real Khan of Azerbaijani music.
In one of his speeches, the khan turned his face to the young singers and made a will: “I learned mugam from great masters, passed the difficult test of years with a thousand and one hardships, protected it from foreign breaths and brought it to the younger generation, to the present day. I have a request from you, protect this gift and pass it on to future generations. " It should be noted that the "Famous Teachers of Karabakh" project provides information about famous people born in Karabakh and engaged in pedagogical activities.
