"Famous teachers of Karabakh" - Khudu Mammadov

The next historical figure of the "Famous Teachers of Karabakh" project of the Ministry of Education is Khudu Mammadov. He was born on December 14, 1927 in Marzili village of Aghdam region. In 1951, he graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University) and was appointed to the Institute of Chemistry of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences at the insistence of his teacher Heydar Efendiyev. His research in the fields of crystallography, crystallochemistry, structural mineralogy, symmetry theory, structural analysis, as well as in the fields of philosophy and cultural studies brought him world fame.
"It should be the homeland of the scientist, not the homeland of science," said Khudu Mammadov, who wanted children and youth to grow up in this spirit: "Children should not be taught to love the homeland. You introduced them to the Motherland, they will love themselves. " The path opened by the prominent scientist in our science is called "Khudu school". Khudu Mammadov established the Baku School of Crystallography for the first time. Under his leadership, more than 40 high-level scientists were trained, 30 of whom defended their PhD and 10 doctoral dissertations. Khudu Mammadov always spoke proudly about teachers and the art of teaching:
"A teacher is not just a person who teaches, but just interacts with students in the classroom for an hour or two. He is a living being who creates a bridge between time and youth, sets an example with his personality, prepares the builders of tomorrow, and has a great responsibility for the future of the nation. He is a teacher all over the world, from ordinary young people. " It should be noted that the "Famous Teachers of Karabakh" project provides information about famous people born in Karabakh and engaged in pedagogical activities. The aim of the project is to commemorate famous teachers originally from Karabakh.
