For the first time in the world, coronavirus infection was recorded in gorillas - VIDEO

For the first time in the world, coronavirus infection was recorded in gorillas. It is reported by ABC 7. The virus was reported in eight animals at a zoo in San Diego, USA. Safari park officials say some of the animals showed signs of coughing and other illnesses.

Primates are thought to have been infected by an asymptomatic coronavirus worker. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Veterinary Service laboratory also confirmed that the gorilla virus test was positive. Earlier, coronavirus was detected in otters in Denmark. After that, the government decided to destroy 17 million otters. However, the murder was carried out in an inhumane way. Most of the animals survived in the gas chamber. After that, they were burned alive in the crematorium.
