The powers of the relevant executive authority provided for in Article 26.4 of the Law on Motor Transport will be exercised by the President of Azerbaijan.
In this regard, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree. According to the decree, in Article 26.4 of the Law, "body (institution)" means the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies. Regarding the transportation of dangerous goods, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Baku Transport Agency, the Sumgayit and Ganja city executive authorities, respectively It is intended.
It should be noted that Article 26 of the Law reflects the issues of ensuring the safety of road transport and environmental protection.
