The Ministry of Defense has appealed to those who want to serve in the army. The text of the appeal states: "From January 11 to 30, military officers under the age of 30 with at least general secondary education, who have completed their active military service and are eligible for voluntary military service in the Azerbaijani Army, will work at the headquarters of associations, troops and military units with relevant documents. may apply to the admissions commissions. Citizens who have applied for admission to the "Training Course for Overtime Military Service" are sent by the admission commissions to the medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense to determine the degree of fitness for military service. According to the decision of the Military Medical Commissions, persons deemed fit for military service are admitted to the entrance examinations. Candidates who successfully pass the exams for the purpose of physical training, general knowledge, thinking ability, professional interests, communication, leadership and decision-making skills, as well as individual-psychological and other qualities are admitted to the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a contract is signed for a period of 3 (three) years and they are appointed to the relevant positions in accordance with their specialties. Candidates must submit the following documents when applying to the admissions commissions: - Application for admission to the course (to the chairman of the admission commission);
- Personal biography, 1 copy in manuscript, 2 copies in print;
- Certificate of employment (work or education);
- Notarized copy of education document - 1 copy; - A certified copy of the birth certificate - 1 copy;
- notarized copy of ID card - 1 copy; - Notarized copy of marriage certificate (if married) - 1 copy;
- Notarized copies of children's birth certificates (if a child) - 1 copy;
- Certificate on family composition and place of residence from the housing department or local executive authorities - 1 copy; - 4 color photos (without hat, face, 2 pieces 3x4 cm and 2 pieces 4.5x6 cm); - Certificate from the registered polyclinic (on whether to apply for skin-venereal, tuberculosis, psychiatric, narcological and infectious diseases in the last 5 (five) years); - a copy of all pages of the military card (notarized) - 1 copy;
Place of application: Admission commissions operating at the headquarters of associations, types of troops and military units. Application time: from January 11 to 30, 2021, every day (except Sundays) from 09.00 to 18.00. Note: In accordance with Article 156, paragraph "e" of the Regulations on Military Service (for incompatibility of service), reservists and convicted military officers are requested not to apply for admission to the course, regardless of the payment of their convictions.
