Tariffs on retail prices for EU-92 gasoline and diesel fuel have been adjusted and new tariffs have been applied since January 5. The statement came from the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy. Given the impact of rising diesel prices on agriculture, government subsidies will be increased.
The State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy has intensified regular monitoring in order to identify and prevent the abuse of tariff changes and unjustified price increases. The State Service informs entrepreneurs that if violations are detected during the control measures, serious liability measures provided for in the legislation will be taken.
When criminal elements are identified in these cases, the collected materials will be sent to the relevant law enforcement agencies. Consumers can apply to the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control in case of abuse and unjustified price increase in the consumer market (tel: 498-15-01, 498-15-04).
