Will public transport fares increase in Baku? - DESCRIPTION

At the next meeting of the Tariff (Price) Council held yesterday, the retail price of AI-92 gasoline was set at 1 manat per liter, and the retail price of diesel fuel was 80 kopecks per liter. But will this price increase affect public transport fares in any way?
Spokesman for the Baku Transport Agency (BTA) Mais Agayev said that no appeal had been made to the Tariff Council regarding the increase in passenger prices in the capital. According to him, BNA carries out state control in the field of regular passenger transportation in Baku: "Given this, the BNA has not appealed to the Tariff Council to increase the fare. No issue in this direction is on the agenda. At present, the main attention in the direction of passenger transport is focused on improving the quality of public transport services provided to citizens, ensuring their comfort.
