World-famous photographer Reza Deghati shared from Shusha again after 28 years. But this time free from Shusha. The photographer shared the photo from his Twitter and Instagram accounts under the same name.
“I drank tea in Shusha 28 years ago. I always wanted to go back to the city and drink tea again, and finally I went back there and drank tea at the top of the highest hill overlooking Khankendi, ”he said. The photographer also wrote his memories of Shusha 28 years ago: "When I left Shusha in April 1992, I was surrounded by Armenian forces and had to cross a very difficult mountain pass on foot under sniper fire. I was able to broadcast from them three times.
Before leaving the city, I wanted to have my last tea with two of the warriors who helped and guided me. One of them was Commander Ramiz Ganbarov. Later I learned that he was killed in battle and won the title of National Hero. The city fell into the hands of the Armenian military on May 8. Deghati said that on the first day of 2021, his greatest wish is lasting peace.
