Despite repeated warnings from government agencies, citizens evade posts and enter liberated areas, putting them at risk of landmines and unexploded ordnance.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Agency for Mine Action of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) issued a joint statement. It should be noted that mines and unexploded ordnance are currently being cleared in these areas. The Prosecutor General's Office, the Interior Ministry and ANAMA once again warn the population not to visit the liberated areas without special permission until they are completely cleared of mines and other explosive devices.
