The retirement age for men and women in 2021 has been announced in Azerbaijan. According to Article 7 of the Law on Labor Pensions, if the pension capital of a person of retirement age registered in the insurance part of the individual account allows to provide a pension not less than the minimum amount of labor pension, regardless of the length of insurance, if this does not allow for pension provision, he / she is entitled to an old-age pension if he / she has at least 25 years of insurance experience (except for persons who have been granted an old-age pension until July 1, 2017). The age limit for men provided for in Article 7 of the Law on Labor Pensions is from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2021, and the age limit for women is from July 1, 2017 to July 2027. Up to 1 is increased by six months each year. Thus, the retirement age for men in Azerbaijan from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 will be 65 years, and for women - 62 years. From July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, the retirement age for men will be 65 years, and for women - 62 years and 6 months.
