At today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis, the draft amendments to the Tax Code were discussed in the third reading.Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Tahir Mirkishili informed about the draft amendments to the Code.The amendment adds two articles to the code.
One of them provides for VAT exemption for vaccines and syringes against coronavirus infection, which will be imported into the country for two years.Another article provides for a two-year exemption from value added tax on goods and materials imported during the reconstruction of oil refineries with an annual processing capacity of not less than three million tons.The draft amendment was put to a vote after discussions and adopted in the third reading
