A 3.1-magnitude earthquake shook the Ismayilli region on December 25, 16 kilometers south of the Khinalig seismological station.
The Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences reported that the tremors were recorded at 17:14 local time.The quake was not felt at a depth of 31 kilometers.
