On December 24, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan received another convoy of humanitarian aid sent by the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation at the Barda railway station in Barda region.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the nine-car humanitarian aid consists mainly of construction materials, technical and household equipment. As of December 24, the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation has sent a total of 54 wagons and 25 trucks of aid to Azerbaijan.
The assistance will be used to repair and restore the property of civilians damaged by enemy shelling and rocket fire during the Great Patriotic War. It should be noted that both the aid sent by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the framework of cooperation, as well as cargo addressed to peacekeepers are delivered from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
