NASA has announced that three asteroids belonging to the group of potentially dangerous celestial bodies are approaching the Earth.According to Gadin.Net, the space rocks will pass safely on December 25. The largest of these, an asteroid estimated to be about 200 meters in diameter, will pass 3,000 kilometers from Earth.
The last time an asteroid named 501647 (2014 SD224) approached Earth was in January 2020. The next time will pass by our planet in December 2021.
It should be noted that the objects that are considered a potential threat are considered to be objects that cover a distance of 6-7 thousand kilometers from the Earth and have an area of 140 meters.
