Haberturk journalist Kamal Ozturk, who was vaccinated with a Chinese-made coronavirus vaccine in Turkey, tested positive. According to Cumhuriyet, Ozturk said he would not be vaccinated again:
"After the first dose, I will not be able to take the second dose due to the virus." He said he did not want to form a negative opinion about the vaccination by saying that the test was positive. "As you know, I volunteered with a group of journalist friends in the third phase of vaccination.
On December 15, 2020, I passed a virus test. The test result was negative on December 16. I was vaccinated on December 17. I did not see any side effects for two days. On the third day, there was a slight fever, a slight headache and muscle aches. However, our doctors could not determine whether it was caused by a cold or a side effect of the vaccine, or at this stage I became infected with the virus.
