On December 22, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to active military service from January 1 to 30, 2021 and release of active military servicemen to the reserve.
AZERTAC informs that according to the Order, a person born in 2003 and 18 years old before the day of conscription (including that day), as well as a person born in 1986-2002, up to 35 years old, serving in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have not served, do not have the right to defer conscription or have not been released from conscription will be called up for active military service from January 1 to 30, 2021.
