Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said Russia's peacekeeping mission in Karabakh was very successful. He said this at an online meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State, TASS reports. "This (peacekeeping mission) is being carried out very successfully, it is in constant contact with the relevant structures of the Republic of Azerbaijan," he said.
The President noted that since the signing of the trilateral statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on the complete cessation of hostilities in Karabakh, only one incident was recorded, which, according to the Azerbaijani side, was provoked by so-called groups not controlled by the Armenian government. Ilham Aliyev noted that the incident was resolved within a day. The ceasefire is being observed, and it will intensify day by day.
