During the special quarantine regime applied in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, public catering facilities, including restaurants, cafes and tea houses may operate only on the basis of delivery services or online sales. The statement came from the Interior Ministry's press service. It was noted that in recent days, announcements have been made in public catering facilities, including restaurants and entertainment centers, on the organization and holding of festivities on December 31 - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the organization and holding of mass festivities and concert programs in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection is unacceptable. We urge our citizens not to believe any announcements and invitations to participate in such mass events, and to follow the rules of the special quarantine regime. Attempts to organize and hold mass events, festivities, concert programs during the special quarantine regime will be resolutely prevented by us, and no mass event will be allowed. If any such fact is revealed, the organizers and participants will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
