Avian flu has been reported in Japan's Kochi prefecture (Shikoku Island).According to NHK, this is the 11th region in the country where the disease has been detected in the last month.
Since the beginning of the week, 40 chickens have died at one of the poultry farms in Kochi.Sanitary experts arrived at the scene and confirmed the presence of bird flu.
