Russia's Defense Ministry has denied reports that Azerbaijani peacekeepers were surrounded by Azerbaijani troops in the Hadrut region of Karabakh. This was reported by RIA Novosti. "All units of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh are carrying out tasks on a regular basis, both at observation posts and during the monitoring of the ceasefire," the ministry said.
The organization also said that the headquarters of the Russian contingent is in constant contact with the headquarters of Azerbaijan and Armenia through direct communication channels, as well as to prevent possible incidents. The Russian Defense Ministry also stressed that the ceasefire was observed along the entire line of contact.
