"From Village to City" Winter Fair will be organized on December 21-31. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the fair will be organized by "Agrarian Supply and Supply" OJSC on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year. It was noted that more than 100 pre-registered farmers will sell agricultural products at reasonable prices at the fair, which will be held at three different addresses in Baku and Absheron.
During the organization of the fair, the requirements of the quarantine regime set by the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the coronavirus pandemic will be fully complied with. Also, the temperatures of farmers and citizens visiting the fair will be measured, disinfectant products will be placed on the territory of the fair, and farmers will be provided with the necessary medical supplies. Participation in the "From Village to City" Winter Fair is completely free. Here, farmers will be able to present their products to the city residents at no additional cost, fully equipped with counters, scales and other equipment.
The organizers will provide logistical support to farmers who have difficulty transporting their products. The prices of products at the fair will be much more affordable than in other wholesale and retail outlets. It should be noted that the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination with Agrarian Supply and Procurement has reconstructed the fair in Narimanov district, and created infrastructure that meets modern requirements.
