Greek magazine writes about the resettlement of Armenians in the Caucasus

A well-known Greek magazine wrote about the resettlement of Armenians in the Caucasus. Rashid Mammadov, head of the Greek-Azerbaijani Friendship Society "Gala" in Greece, published an article in the magazine "Karfitsa" on the resettlement of Armenians in the Caucasus. The statement came from Elnur Elturk, a researcher-expert on the diaspora, Gadin.Net reports. "The article began with the fact that Armenians were never ancient inhabitants of the Caucasus and were later relocated to these territories in various stages. German cartographer Zebastian Münster drew a map in 1544-1545.
The map depicts Caucasian Albania, Colchis, Iberia (now Georgia) and the Armenian state outside the Caucasus. The article talks about Armenians in different periods. Even when the states of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia were established in the Caucasus in 1918, it is said that the Armenians made territorial claims and rioted against the Azerbaijanis in Zangazur and Karabakh. As a result of the efforts of the APC government, an agreement was signed with Armenia on November 23, 1919 in Tbilissi (Georgia).
According to this agreement, riots were to be stopped and disputes were to be resolved peacefully. The article focuses on the fact that Armenians have been attacking Azerbaijanis since 1988 and pursuing a policy of ethnic cleansing against them, expelling our compatriots from their lands. At the same time, they were informed that they had raised the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh's economic backwardness with the Soviet leadership and argued that it should be annexed to Armenia.
