The procedure for providing insurance payments to servicemen killed and wounded in the war has been announced

One-time insurance payments are provided to our servicemen who were martyred and received various injuries. A working group consisting of senior officials has been established at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan to ensure one-time insurance payments to our servicemen killed and injured in the Great Patriotic War, as well as during the Karabakh war.
The Working Group, together with relevant government agencies, including the Ministry of Justice, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, shall make operational insurance payments to servicemen or their heirs. Work is being done in an organized manner to prepare in time. The Working Group immediately held a video conference with the Working Group on Social Issues of Martyrs, War Invalids, Veterans and Participants in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
At the same time, the Working Group included representatives from the Central Bank and the State Insurance Commercial Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azersigorta). It should be noted that, according to the "Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on compulsory personal insurance of servicemen", in case of death (martyrdom), disability and injury, insurance payments are made by Azersigorta.
The Working Group has managed and controlled the issues of immediate consideration of applications for obtaining relevant insurance payments in the main office or regional branches of Azersigorta and making payments as soon as possible. The company's employees visit the families of martyrs and provide them with all necessary assistance and legal support to facilitate the payment process. If our servicemen or their family members have any problems with obtaining insurance payments, they are asked to call the Central Bank's "966" hotline.
