From today until January 18, 2021 at 00:00, a strict special quarantine regime will be applied throughout the country. According to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
- Due to the tightening of the special quarantine regime from 00:00 on December 14, 2020 to 00:00 on January 18, 2021 throughout the country, except for areas of work and services defined by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan work and services in the fields are suspended. All commercial establishments, public catering establishments, including restaurants, cafes and tea houses, are only allowed to provide delivery services to customers or sell them online; - from 00:00 on December 14, 2020 to 00:00 on January 18, 2021, except for the movement of operational and special purpose vehicles, as well as trucks and vehicles of the National Agency for Mine Action of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Access to the territory of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Mingachevir, Shirvan cities and Absheron region, as well as Lankaran, Masalli, Jalilabad, Sheki, Zagatala, Guba, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Barda, Bilasuvar and Ismayilli region centers (except villages and settlements) suspended;
- from 00:00 on December 14, 2020 to 00:00 on January 18, 2021 in the territory of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Mingachevir, Shirvan cities and Absheron region, as well as in Lankaran, Masalli, Jalilabad, Sheki, Traffic restrictions are applied in Zagatala, Guba, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Barda, Bilasuvar and Ismayilli district centers (except for villages and settlements). Persons working in the relevant agencies on the list determined by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of service cards, as well as employees of other organizations and institutions identified by the decision after entering information about them by the employer using electronic signature on the portal "permission.egov.az" can move in the above-mentioned areas; Information on employees of relevant government agencies and private legal entities, as well as members of some volunteer organizations must be entered into the portal "permission.-gov.az" from December 9, 2020 at 10:00. - from 00:00 on December 14, 2020 to 00:00 on January 18, 2021 in the territory of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Mingachevir, Shirvan cities and Absheron region, as well as in Lankaran, Masalli, Jalilabad, Sheki, In Zagatala, Guba, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Barda, Bilasuvar and Ismayilli district centers (except villages and settlements) SMS-permission system for all other persons to leave their place of residence or location or 102 Service of the Duty Units Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Permission is granted through the Call Center. SMS-permission system is applied in the following cases:
- to leave the place of residence and location due to urgent medical necessity or scheduled treatment (the permit is issued within 3 hours within the district and city, taking into account the distance between the district and the address to be addressed and the duration of the treatment procedure, if necessary) the period of return is determined by a certificate issued by a doctor and, if necessary, presented to police officers);
- the need to purchase food and other daily necessities and medicines (from grocery stores, supermarkets, markets and pharmacies), to use public services, banking, postal and other services provided in the work and service areas, as well as to spend time outdoors to leave the place of residence and location (permission is issued once a day for 3 hours, the period of return for those who left the place of residence and location due to the need to use public services is determined by a certificate issued by the relevant government agency). In order to leave the place of residence and location in connection with the funeral of a close relative, each person must obtain permission through the 102 Service - Call Center of the Duty Units Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Persons with tickets for international and domestic flights are allowed to move from their place of residence and stay on the basis of their tickets, and persons entering the country from the state border are allowed to enter their place of residence and stay on the basis of their passport stamp. - Restrictions on passenger transportation in the Baku metro will be extended until 06:00 on January 31, 2021. - Restrictions on public transport on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the country will be extended until 06:00 on January 31, 2021;
