26-year-old Nail is one of our servicemen, who was posthumously named "Hero of the Patriotic War" by the order of President Ilham Aliyev. Nail Nariman oglu Ibrahimli was born on March 4, 1994 in the village of Khachmaz, Oguz region. Nail went to military service in 2011 after successfully graduating from secondary school No. 2 named after Vugar Ibrahimov. Having loved the military since childhood, Nail joined the State Border Service after completing his military service.
He was admitted to the Special Forces because of his great discipline in the service. He joined the war from the first day of the Patriotic War and was one of our leading heroes in the fight against the enemy. He took part in the battles in Fizuli, Gubadli and Zangilan districts and distinguished himself in the liberation of these districts. Nail's last battlefield was Shusha.
He was killed by enemy bullets while rescuing a colleague who was wounded in heavy fighting on November 7. The grave of the martyr is in the Alley of Martyrs in Khachmaz village. Note that Nail was also engaged in wrestling. He repeatedly participated in competitions and won several medals and diplomas. By the order of President Ilham Aliyev on December 9, Nail Ibrahimli (junior gizir) was posthumously named "Hero of the Patriotic War."
