The United States has approved a coronavirus vaccine developed by Turkish scientists

The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Board of Independent Experts has approved the emergency use of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. According to Qadin.Net, this was reported by Anadolu Agency.
Following the approval of the country's first coronavirus vaccine by the regulator, the FDA is expected to complete the official vaccination approval procedure and begin distribution to the provinces from today. By the end of this month, the vaccination is planned to cover 3 million people. The vaccine is mainly recommended for health workers and the elderly living in nursing homes, but the final decision will be made by the provincial governments. The vaccine has been approved in the United Kingdom and Canada.
The vaccine was developed by the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer and the German biotechnology company BioNTech, a partner of Turkish scientist, Professor Ugur Sahin.
