Two more Army Corps have been established in Azerbaijan

"Until now, it was known that the Land Forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces consisted of four Army Corps and one Special General Army located in Nakhchivan." The statement came from military expert Adalat Verdiyev, Gadin.Net reports. The expert said that the partial mobilization of new personnel allowed to create new army corps:
"Yesterday in Baku, as a result of the successful combat operations of the Azerbaijani army in Karabakh, we drew attention to the fact that there were some changes in the composition of the Land Forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the Victory Parade dedicated to the liberation of our territories. Thus, the participation of the personnel of the V and VI Army Corps during the parade showed that two new army corps were added to the existing army corps of the Land Forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
It is obvious that the possibility of creating two new army corps is possible due to the partial mobilization announced in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's long-term preparation for war, the acquisition of additional weapons, equipment and ammunition, and the partial mobilization of new personnel have also allowed the creation of new army corps. Thus, at present, the Land Forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces consist of 6 General Army Corps and a Special General Army located in Nakhchivan. This has resulted in an increase in the number of personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as well as the potential of weapons and equipment.
