President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree yesterday awarding a monthly pension to Major General Polad Hashimov, Colonel Ilgar Mirzayev and Retired Sergeant Ibad Huseynov, who were named "National Hero of Azerbaijan".
The statement came from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. It was noted that, like other types of social security, the appointment of the President's monthly pension for the so-called "National Hero of Azerbaijan" is determined electronically, automatically as a proactive service at the time of the right to this pension. There is no need for a citizen or family members to apply and submit any documents.
The monthly pension (1,500 manat) is paid to our National Heroes themselves, and to the family members of our National Heroes who rose to the peak of martyrdom.
