Azerbaijan's 44-day war of rights ended in a historic victory. A military parade dedicated to our victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held today. The victory parade will take place in Baku's Freedom Square. The parade will be attended by more than 3,000 personnel, about 150 military equipment, including modern military equipment, missiles and artillery, air defense systems, as well as warships and boats. Viewers of the parade will be able to see some of the military booty seized by our victorious army in the Great Patriotic War.
The victory parade is expected to be watched by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, members of state and government of the two countries. In this regard, the President of Turkey arrived in Azerbaijan yesterday. The scriptwriter and presenter of the magnificent Victory Parade will be Colonel Abdullah Gurbani, Honored Art Worker, Presidential Personal Fellow. Interesting innovations are also expected in the parade.
Thus, a huge inscription "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" made of car and technical numbers destroyed by the brave Azerbaijani army will be demonstrated. Everyone will be able to watch the parade up to Azneft Square. Zaur Mammadov, a descendant of Panahali khan Javanshir, the founder of the Karabakh khanate and the founder of the Shusha fortress, and the first commandant after the liberation of Shusha, who had exceptional services in conducting military operations and was awarded the highest military rank by the President's decree, will bring the flag to Shusha.
